An Activities Assistant in an assisted living facility plays a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for residents by organizing and overseeing recreational and social activities tailored to their interests and abilities. Responsibilities

• Promote Engagement: Encourage resident engagement and participation in activities by promoting and explaining the benefits of active and social lifestyles.

• Work with Other Staff: Collaborate with other team members, including caregivers and healthcare professionals, to develop comprehensive care plans and ensure holistic support for residents.

• Maintain Equipment and Supplies: Ensure that all activity equipment and supplies are properly maintained, organized, and utilized efficiently. Report any damages or needs for replacement.

• Health and Safety: Adhere to all health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe environment for all residents during activities. Provide first aid when necessary and respond to emergencies promptly.

• Family Involvement: Communicate with residents' families to keep them informed about upcoming events and encourage their participation and support in activities.
